HELLO. I AM CATHERINE.
Tech marketer & parent. Loves cooking and reading, and really good coffee.
Welcome to The Cabro
The Cabro is a space that speaks to the unique challenges of the modern working woman and aims to inspire mothers to maintain their sense of self while fostering strong relationships with their partners, building a meaningful career, and raising healthy children.
I founded The Cabro during the haze of maternity leave in late 2020 to create what I could not find on the internet: a place for working mothers to see how another working mother gets it done. I spent much of my pregnancy and maternity leave cobbling together a plan for how I wanted to step into this new role of motherhood. Eager to share my findings with others, I decided it was time to resurrect my love for writing and create my own space on the internet. The Cabro is a resource for working mothers on topics related to career, parenthood, and lifestyle. While I don’t believe we can have it all and do it all at the same time, we can be thoughtful about what we will prioritize in different seasons of our lives. I look forward to learning from the powerful community of working mothers and sharing my insights as I navigate the new role of working mom.

A little more about me
You can read more about my career on LinkedIn. Currently, I am a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Azure AI at Microsoft, supporting our go-to-market strategy Azure responsible AI. My greatest skillset as a technology marketer is creating meaningful marketing moments that drive positive and impactful experiences with customers. My sales and marketing career includes working for fast-paced, high growth tech companies like Slalom, Tableau, and DocuSign. I have my MBA from Cornell University and an MA in Counseling-Psychology and I enjoy mentoring early-career women who want to make a shift in their career or expand their influence in the workplace.
I live in Seattle, Washington with my husband, our 3-year-old son Z and our 1-year-old daughter J. In my free time, I am an avid reader, enjoy traveling with my family, and am always planning my next meal. While I live in the Pacific Northwest, I am highly influenced by my upbringing in the South; I love all things chinoiserie and live for butter. I am usually not far from an ice-cold glass of Coca-Cola. I enjoy engaging with other working parents over on my Instagram account, @_thecabro, where I hang out daily.
